# CONNECTIFY' system

Among the innovative technologies on which CONNECTIFY relies, blockchain is a truly transformative factor for the Internet of Things.

Thanks to its unique properties of decentralization, transparency and transaction immutability, blockchain solves many of today's IoT challenges. It guarantees data traceability by certifying its origin and end-to-end routing on the infrastructure. It is impossible to falsify or alter data without detection. Blockchain also secures transactions against piracy. Consensus and cryptographic mechanisms make opaque modifications impossible. Blockchain-programmable smart contracts bring intelligence to the routing and processing of IoT data streams, depending on context. Thanks to blockchain, users retain total control over access to and secure sharing of their personal data.

CONNECTIFY seamlessly integrates the benefits of blockchain with a simplified IoT infrastructure to realize the promise of a decentralized, secure IoT at the service of people.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://connectify.gitbook.io/iot-protocol/connectify-system.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
