# Overview

CONNECTIFY has developed a protocol based on blockchain technologies dedicated to IoT (Internet of Things) to create an innovative bridge between real-world assets and on-chain protocols. This infrastructure offers a robust and secure solution for integrating data and physical assets into the digital world, opening up new perspectives for the digital economy.

The IOTY protocol forms the core of this infrastructure, enabling devices identities to be written immutably to the blockchain. This guarantees data traceability and immutability, ensuring the integrity and security of recorded information. Thanks to this functionality, users can have confidence in the reliability of data and transactions carried out on the blockchain.

In addition, the IOTY protocol offers comprehensive management of services and on-chain writes of data, messages and actions/transfers carried out throughout a device's lifetime. This enables efficient process automation, reduced operating costs and better management of digital assets, helping to optimize performance and create new opportunities for innovation in a variety of sectors.
